Hi There! Just would like to know if there is, in the planning stages, R.V. camping with water, elec and sewer. If so how much and will there be camping on the lake with this. My family is looking forward to getting back to lake Berryessa. We have been going to Steele park for over 10 yrs. and like it alot. Thank you , Mike McKinley

    Mike,
We are certainly planning to have RV camping with full hook ups at Lupine Shores (Steele Park). We currently do not have RV sites available at this location but will hopefully have some available later in the season, although it is unknown whether we will be able to supply hook ups this season. However for next season we will certainly have beautiful lakeside RV spots with full hook ups. Our goal is to have everyone back at the Lake as soon as possible! I do have a reservation for you for 3 RV spots for July 18-23.
    Thank you

  3. Al says:

Any chance of getting 3 RV spots for this coming 4th of July weekend??
Who would we contact and how much will it cost?
Couldn’t get the reservations button to confirm anything…

  4. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

    Al,
I have forwarded your request to our reservations department. Someone will contact you next week to confirm.

    Thank you,

any news on spanish flats camping?been camping there for 20yrs but not in last three years

  6. Grace Chuatakoon says:

When will the Spanish Flat location be opened up for tent camping? Where is the Putah Creek location?
    Thanks

  7. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

Foothill Pines (Spanish Flat) will most likely not be open this season for camping. We currently have camping, RV and launching available at Chaparral Cove (Putah Creek). RV sites will be available beginning July 4th weekend at Lupine Shores (Steele Park).

  8. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

Foothill Pines (Spanish Flat) will not be open for tent camping this season. It will most likely be open next season. Chaparral Cove (Putah Creek) is located at the north end of the lake right off Knoxville Road. We do have camping, RV and launching available at that location. It is a beautiful site. If you would like to make a reservation for that location you may do so using the Reservations icon on the home page of the website.

I’m trying to find a Resort that is open now (June 26th-27th) for Picnics and has a beach for swimming.
Also a launch ramp would be great too!

  10. Kathy says:

Regarding your launch fees… on your 2010 rate card it states $20, info. given to Lake Berryessa News says $20 plus tax, but when we went to Lupine Shores yesterday it was a slightly different story… that $20 only covers 4 people! Each additional person is about $2.
I feel that your rates card and the information that you have provided to the general public is misleading.
Why not just one launch fee, like it use to be, like the places in Tahoe do.
Why add the tax, that is needed.
It just seems to make more sense if you just had a fee for launch –make it $25 or even $30 and have it include everyone in your car and include the tax.

    Hello,

It’s my first time visiting Lake Berryessa, and I’m so excited! I have a few questions, hoping you can help…

-What’s the address of the entrance (for navigation purposes)?
-How does my party check in if we are all coming separately? Do we need to pay for all sites when the first party arrives, or just pay as people come in? We have 3 sites for 17-18 of us and we will have more than one car per site.
-Once we pay the fee for extra cars, do we park them on our campsite, or somewhere else?
-What’s the temperature at night? And how do I find the forecast for this weekend? Are there trees/shade on the campsites?
-Is there a convenience store nearby for ice and firewood? Is there a boat rental place nearby?

I’m sorry to have so many questions, they are sort of a compilation from the group. Looking forward to the weekend!!! Thanks!

  12. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

    Pete,
Chaparral Cove (Putah Creek) is open for tent camping, RV and launching. Lupine Shores (Steele Park) is also open for launching and RV camping.

  13. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

    Jennifer,
The address to Chaparral Cove is 7600 Knoxville Road. You can pay for your entire party upon check in and the girls at the entry gate will mark down how many are in your party. When each of your party arrives they will check in at the entry gate to receive their wrist band. Only one vehicle is allowed per site but there is designated overflow parking – just look for the signs. There is a lot of trees and shade that will protect you during the daytime. They are forecasting mid 90s during the day but it will cool off some during the evening. I recommend bringing something warm to put on at night. The nearest convenience store is about 15-20 minutes back down Knoxville road to Spanish Flats. The boat rental place is call Lake Berryessa Boat Rental and their number is 707-966-4204. They are all the way down by Markley Cove though which is a significant drive round the south side of the lake.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! You will love Lake Berryessa.

  14. Lorri Wilke says:

How much to launch my boat?

  15. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

    It is $20 for launch.

  16. Nicole Davis says:

I am wondering if you know if Spanish Flat will be open NEXT season and when you might be starting hiring for that resort? I worked there as a teenager and want to work there again soon. I have already filled out an application on this website and I was hoping to get more info on the possibility of being hired as a year round employee. I have been watching the progress in the development plans and I must say I am kinda excited about some of the changes.

  17. Maritess Musni says:

What is the closest resort’s open from Spanish Flat?

  18. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

Spanish Flat will be closed for the remainder of the season. Chaparral Cove (the old Putah Creek) and Lupine Shores (the old Steele Park) are both open for camping and launching.

  19. Georgi Maule-ffinch says:

We do hope to have some minimal services at Foothill Pines (Spanish Flat) for next season. We will most likely begin hiring for Foothill Pines and the other sites next spring. We will post a blog on this site to inform everyone when we begin interviewing. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to meeting you.
